  1. Step away from the stressful situations and give yourself a chance to reset. Getting into nature can be powerful in clearing your mind and calming your nervous system.
  2. Practice self-care, nurture yourself you are worth it.
  3. Nourish your mind with beautiful thoughts. Collaborate with you mind positively, make it your best friend. Your mind will serve it and support you when train it to be optimistic.
  4. Trust that you have all the answers within you, even if this means being directed to other sources to find more information. Trust your inner wisdom.
  5. Train your mind to be calm and still, when possible so you can go beyond the "noisiness" that your thoughts can create, and hear your inner wisdom.

    I have learnt that "downtimes make the...  moreIn our busy lives it can be possible to put self-care on the "back-burner." I also thought when I was younger was that if I was busy all the time, it would mean that I would get more done, and be more effective.
    
    I have learnt that "downtimes make the doing times better". "Space" in our life it allows us to see things more clearly and often make better decisions. Space can give us the stillness we need to listen to our inner wisdom. Not to mention, when we take breaks it gives our body a chance to recover, our nervous system to relax. When we are relaxed, things are more likely to flow.
    
    3 ways to take space include:
    
    1) 3 deep breaths every hour.
    2) A 10 minute walk away from your desk am and pm.
    3) Take 30 minutes daily to do something that you love to do.
    You may be surprised as to the insights and clarity you will receive while taking a break!
