  • Description Lissa is the founder of Write to Calm, a mindful writing community that combines writing and mindfulness to help people feel less stressed, have better relationships, and be more productive at work.

Have you tried different ways to feel less stressed, yet nothing seems to be working?

Too much stress can cause serious health problems, or worse. You deserve to lead a happier, healthier, and longer life.

To begin all you need is a pen and paper or a notebook. Do the writing meditations for each of these courses at your own pace and on your own time. The course you buy is yours to keep forever. Redo as often as you want. Only two minutes a day to start. It's that simple.

We can be moving through life so fast that we miss it! I love the zen proverb "If you don't have time to meditate for an hour every day, you should meditate for two hours"! My experience taught me that the "downtimes, make the doing times better". I learned that time spent doing a 10-minute meditation in the morning help me to be more focussed, effective and productive during the day.

An inspiring story about sharing time with your mum too, very precious times indeed.  less

Lissa M. Cowan November 17, 2020 Thank you, Deborah! I love that Zen proverb. So true! LOL. And yes we don't need to spend a lot of time to change our perspective. Just ten minutes in the morning can do wonders for increasing focus and presence during the day.

    Money Mindset
    Money Mindset
I don’t know about you, but I was brought up to NOT talk about money.
I was encouraged to quietly give and reluctantly receive.

An amazing achievement on your behalf and I am sure your insights will help those suffering with pain. I know that endometriosis is a condition that impacts many women and they are often left suffering for years as they are unable to find the support and help they need to heal. I too believe in the wholistic approach to healing and it has worked wonders in my life and my daughters as we both have suffered endometriosis. Your 10 tips are practical, mostly free and helpful in bringing relief to cope with chronic pain and live a happy, healthy life.  less
