Successful People Turn Losses Into Lessons

The impossible is out there waiting for you to make it happen. You need to know this. You need to believe this. You know what the difference is between the winner in the loser? The winner never quits. Yes, the winner does fail. But they keep pushing forward. Set backs are just a prelude to a comeback.

Don’t give up! Find a reason to keep going!

In a time where there is so much uncertainty, don’t let your mindset be one of them. It’s not about winning. It’s about growing. Taking a loss and turning it into a lesson, is what winners do. It’s what survivors do. Life is too short too focus on bad outcomes and blaming yourself for them. Cultivate the attitude of being thankful. Trust me, there are things to be grateful for. Working 35 years in mental health has taught me that. From the abused, to the dying, to the spiritually bankrupt. Find a reason to keep going. Find a reason to be thankful.

The difference between the student and the master is, the master has already failed a thousands times. I love that saying. Which brings us back to, the impossible is out there waiting for you to make it happen. And it all starts in your mind. Giving up is not an option. But getting up is. If you can look up, get up. If there is air in your lungs, it’s not over. You see what I am getting at?

I would never minimize someone’s journey, nor their decision. But…you always have a choice. And in the choice lies power. And if you choose to keep going, your power will grow. If you choose not too, you know what will happen? Nothing! Impossible for the people who came before you, does not mean impossible for you. And the sooner you buy into that concept, the smaller the impossible will feel. And slowly but surely, the impossible will feel hard, but no longer impossible.

The impossible is out there waiting for you to make it happen. Will you?
