I just wanted to share a few thoughts on Men's Health as it is men's health week here in Australia.

I have been working in the 'men's space' for three decades and for the past 20 years have spent many 1000's of moments with men in my capacity as a facilitator, coach, counsellor and psychotherapist supporting men into leading a better life - which, of course includes having good mental health.

Some of the key aspects of working with men (and women) and mental health , is about helping them to be free of stress, anxiety, fear, doubt and negative mindsets and thinking. This is an ongoing process and something, that I encourage people to work with EVERY DAY!

On the TO DO LIST: Daily Meditation, Daily Exercise. Daily (evening) Journaling. Having a Coach. Daily / Weekly / Monthly Study for the Mind.

Much of the work around having good health is the COMMITMENT to doing the work, and committing to getting support when things get a bit stuck. Staying stuck for weeks, months, and even sometimes years, is something I see in men often. Once stuck, is it often difficult to move on ... this is where the support comes in. This is where I am often called upon for that very support.

Once people are 'back on track' or perhaps on track for the first time, then things can move and shift. So, wherever you are right now with your own health and wellbeing - get on track - stay on track and stay focused every day.
