Powering through something without taking a break will only cause you to burn out too early. Give yourself the time and space you need to relax and recharge for a bit, then you can continue what you were doing refreshed. The downtime makes the doing time better.

I have learnt that "downtimes make the doing times better". "Space" in our life it allows us to see things more clearly and often make better decisions. Space can give us the stillness we need to listen to our inner wisdom. Not to mention, when we take breaks it gives our body a chance to recover, our nervous system to relax. When we are relaxed, things are more likely to flow.

1) 3 deep breaths every hour.
2) A 10 minute walk away from your desk am and pm.
3) Take 30 minutes daily to do something that you love to do.
You may be surprised as to the insights and clarity you will receive while taking a break!
