    Hi Jameson!

It's great to hear that you're invested in looking after yourself and being the healthiest version of yourself.

Weight loss can be tricky and requires a lot of motivation and patience, but with the right outlook and approach, it is very achievable!

Here are some tips I have that may help you out.

    1. Set realistic goals. These will help keep you on track and keep you motivated.

    2. Eat more slowly. It takes 15 - 20 minutes for your body to receive satiety cues - so slowing down the pace of eating will prevent overeating.

    3. Find a form of exercise that you can commit to. This may be joining a sports team, cycling to work a couple of times a week, or joining your local gym. Physical exercise will not only facilitate immediate weight loss and improve your overall well-being, but it will ensure the maintenance of your hard-earned weight loss!

    4. Collect recipes for go-to healthy meals that are quick to prepare. A common excuse we make for eating unhealthfully is that we're 'too busy' or 'too tired' to cook. If you have a variety of tried and tested meals, you're more likely to avoid this situation!

Eat small amounts regularly! This worked really well for me. That way, you're never so hungry that you overeat. You're also inclined to make healthier food choices if you aren't ravenous.
