Overview
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali are considered one of the most profound texts in the yogic tradition, offering timeless guidance for inner peace and self-realization. Among the 196 sutras, each verse presents a deep insight into the human mind, spiritual practice, and the path of yoga. In this context, Yoga Sutra 1.5 holds great importance because it introduces us to the different kinds of mental modifications or fluctuations of the mind. Patanjali teaches that by understanding and controlling these fluctuations, a yogi can gradually move towards clarity, concentration, and liberation.
