About Me

  • Qualifications Psychologist, Coach, Therapist and Writer
  • Description I provide personal and professional training that will help you get a better handle on yourself, a relationship, and life in general. My aim is to show how easy it is to improve emotional wellbeing, and to sweep away the doubts and uncertainties that often prevent people from sorting out the things that trouble them. My strapline is "Life doesn't have to be like that". It comes from the idea that—given the right information and a bit of encouragement—we can fix a lot of life's irritants ourselves, without need of professional help.
  • What I Do Personal development, Emotional Intelligence, Sleep, Relationships, Conflict Management, Resilience
  • Areas I Specialise In Sleep, Emotional Mastery, Parenting, Relationships, Self-Care, Stress
  • How My Work Helps People I have made it my mission, through my online training courses, coaching and writing, to present practical information as widely as possible to help others 'get a better handle on life'.
  • What I Can Help With Personal development, psychological and emotional mastery, relationship difficulties, wellbeing, personal performance.

Are You Good at Being Bad?
Do you often find fault with yourself? Are you one of those people who makes a habit of berating themselves for what they see as failings?

If You Listen To Depression, It Wins
If You Listen To Depression, It Wins
Depression creates its own logic which hijacks your thinking; anything you think which requires a response will be answered by depression:
You think: “I could go for a walk”Depression says: “Not today, You’re too tired”

    Communication Breakdown? Really?
There is no such thing as a ‘communication breakdown’.
We hear about it all time, but I think this is an unhelpful and limiting term which does more harm than good. Here’s why.
